Autism
Speaks (www.autismspeaks.org)
is the world’s largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated
to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for
autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating
for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. Autism Speaks was founded in
February 2005 by Bob and Suzanne Wright, grandparents of a child with
autism.
Talk About Curing
Autism (TACA) (www.talkaboutcuringautism.org)
provides information, resources, and support to families affected by
autism. For families who have just received the autism diagnosis, TACA
aims to speed up the cycle time from the autism diagnosis to effective
treatments. TACA helps to strengthen the autism community by connecting
families and the professionals who can help them, allowing them to share
stories and information to help people with autism.
Autism
Research Institute (ARI) (www.autism.com)
is a non-profit organization established in 1967 by Dr. Bernard Rimland.
For more than forty years, ARI has devoted its work to conducting and
disseminating research on the triggers of autism and on methods of
diagnosing and treating autism. ARI provides research-based information to
parents and professionals around the world in the form of a monthly
newsletter as well as the bi-annual Defeat Autism Now (DAN) conferences,
held around the world.

for Behavior Analysis International® (www.abainternational.org) is a
nonprofit professional membership organization with the mission to
contribute to the well-being of society by developing, enhancing, and
supporting the growth and vitality of the science of behavior analysis
through research, education, and practice.
Age of Autism (www.ageofautism.com) is an online
daily Newspaper of the Autism Epidemic (also available on Facebook and Twitter)
featuring well-known parent advocates Dan Olmsted, Kim Stagliano and Mark
Blaxill. This popular site provides news and views on autism treatments,
diet, vaccines, media coverage and lively comment threads.
